I've had them for about a month now. They do an excellent job of reproducing the full frequency range; Jazz cymbals sizzle, fiddles sing, and James Jamerson-esque basslines sound fantastic. I'm thinking of adding an S10 subwoofer for home theater use and getting more power out of the drums. Overall I think these speakers are very faithful to the mix recorded in the studio; If it's bass-heavy soul, R&B, Afrobeat, etc. you'll feel it tastefully, but if it's less bass-heavy music, like a string quartet or an older jazz recording, you won't feel it as much. The guy from the New Record Day YouTube channel recommends moving them around the room a bit and I can tell they create a really nice 3D effect when doing so. I'm a college student on a budget, but I was able to get the model in an open box and save some money; they offer a lot of value at this speed. Optically they look very nice without bars and rather boring/simple with bars. They also have a nice little footprint so they shouldn't be a distraction or get in the way.
