Flat networking cables are super for routing your home for wired networking. While regular round cables are great, flat cables are best for tucking UNDER your floor moulding! If you have floor moulding, especially shoe moulding, you can easily remove those and tuck these thin cables underneath or behind them. Or since shoe molding is used to hide the gap between the floor and floor molding you can squeeze these cables between that gap. It’s small and thin enough to fit in most of these circumstances and you can cut slightly in instances where they don’t fit. I’ve wired my entire house this way. These cables are perfect for this project or you can just tuck them in behind drywall as well. They’re very flexible and easier to work with than regular CAT cables which can feel stiff and hard to bend in behind tight spaces. The plugs for this cable also has the easy push clips that don’t break off easily for added peace of mind. Cat 6A is the same speeds as Cat6 but has longer transmission distances. Again this is great for wiring a home since you can stretch lines a bit longer without routers or repeaters in between. They give 100ft in this roll and it comes in such a small box because the flat cabling is so thin and space effective. My only issue now is that I need to cut these and re-splice the heads.
