This monitor is great for competitive gaming. Pros: Very responsive, Freesync certified and gsync compatible, no 144hz display issues, easy to set up, Vesa compatible, no ghosting, stand allows full tilt and swivel and allows changing monitor height. Cons: The bezels surrounding the screen are very large on all sides and the stand is bulky so it doesn't have the highest quality aesthetic, colors are very washed out, even more so than I would expect from your standard TN. Panel, the rear mounted cable clip for cable management is very flimsy and doesn't offer many features, plugging/unplugging the HDMI cable/displayport is a headache when the monitor is on your desk (probably not a problem for most people, but I often plug my laptop in and out from the display for school work, the monitor controls aren't the most intuitive or user-friendly and I've had much better experiences This monitor has all the different parts to your actual gaming experience FreeSync works great and is very responsive Customers have confirms that gsync works very well with this monitor as well, however I was disappointed with the tertiary aspects of the monitor 144hz panels AOC models and Acers are $160 and $180 respectively compared to over $230 for the Competition.
