Review on S.M.S.L M200: Advanced Bluetooth 5.0 Audio DAC with AK4497EQ Chip, UAT/aptX-HD/AAC/SBC Support by Vassil Ivanov ᠌

Great external dac. I wanted to make a Chinese on a high-end chip from Saber, but I couldn't reach for it since I didn't have enough money, and I don't have any regrets about purchasing this one at all. The DAC helped me achieve my goal of improving the system's transparency and level of detail, both of which were successfully accomplished. The sound became less dense and more airy, the top and middle registers sounded cleaner and more distinct, and the instrumentation was more easily discernible. It is a bit cumbersome to transfer from a computer, so I stopped at usb from the phone via an otg adapter. The sound quality of flac 192/24 is outstanding; however, I have not yet experimented with dsd. The DAC is linked to the amp by analogy. 96 kHz is equally stunning when sent via Bluetooth using the LDAC codec; the connection is established very rapidly, and the signal does not fluctuate. The digital audio converter (DAC) has a highly attractive design, a screen that is easy to read, and a short signal transmission distance from the remote control to the DAC; however, the remote control is not required. The quality of the sound may typically be improved for a reasonable amount of additional expenditure.
