I often get splinters - either wood or steel. So, I have good tweezers like these. However, either my wife or daughter or one of my sons continues to take my set. So I got another one. It's nice and compact - perfect for on the go in my first aid kit. I like to add scissors to sets as they are useful for many purposes. Scissors feel hard and sharp - both are good. The 3 sets of tweezers are great and should meet all my needs. All 3 pairs feel and look good and should last forever if treated properly or if I can hide them from my family. In general, I am very satisfied with it and have already pulled a piece of metal out of my finger with it.
