Review on 🐢 Kuoser Dog Winter Coat with Hood: Warm, Windproof, and Snowproof Jacket for Dogs with Reflective Design and Harness Hole by Emily Perkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Well made, poorly designed

Problem with front leg cuffs (luckily no rear leg cuffs). When we first used this coat, while jumping over a six inch pile of snow, my dog got stuck in his sleeves as he pulled back and bent his front legs to jump. She slipped both front legs into her sleeves and fell face down on the (fortunately) soft, snow-covered ground on the other side of the pile. I had to pull her bent legs out of her sleeves before we could continue. Also, the sleeves will make it harder for your dog to put the coat on and will scare him a bit if he's nervous. When I got home I cut off the sleeves. It doesn't look pretty, but if the coat doesn't unravel, it should work. If it resolves I will come back and update this review. There are good seams between the sleeves and the body, so I hope they prevent the filler from falling out of the body of the coat and the strips of fabric from spreading onto the body. The fabric consists of at least three layers with a red waterproof or heavy-duty shell, padding and a soft inner shell. The coat looks well tailored and quite attractive (at least it was until I chopped off the sleeves). It fits my dog as advertised here on Revain. Once again, here is another product that, if tested in a real situation for more than a few minutes, could be a lot better.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Pretty much everything ok
