Works just as well as the original device. No questions. Very happy with the purchase.

Bought to replace my Optoma HD-141X. The previous (factory) lamp had around 2000 hours on it when it finally decided to start dimming (see photo). Luckily I figured it out before it exploded. The device arrived in typical Chinese postal packaging: the box is completely obscured by any identifiers (black paper) and completely wrapped in cellophane tape. There was only a label outside, identifying the device. The unit was unpacked and found to be clean and well prepared. There were no problems. Since my device was already installed, I didn't feel the need to remove it - just to change the lightbulb. I'm glad I didn't because replacing it was a breeze. (1) Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw (top/side of the unit) on the cover/plate. (2) Pull/slide the cover. to open the block inside. (3) Lift the lever/knob of the indoor lamp unit. (4) Loosen the self-retaining fixing screw (black) at the top of the lamp unit. (5) Gently pull the unit out of the projector body, it may require a little wiggling to remove. (6) Disconnect the AC adapter from the projector power source. A new block is installed in the reverse order. The whole process took about 5 minutes. At the moment, the picture quality is in no way inferior to the original device. Colors are bright and saturated with no sign of glare or visual artifacts. Since the unit is new, I didn't disassemble the case to make sure it was the same lamp. For those interested in identifying the original bulb, this is OSRAM P-VIP 190/0.8 E20.8.

Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
