Review on Stay Hydrated with The Nalgene Wide Mouth Water Bottle: The Perfect Companion for All Your Adventures by Jump Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2 years of intensive use and still working!

I'm adding my review here as most people write reviews after 3-5 months of use. I am writing a review after 2 years of intensive use! The bottle has successfully withstood both hot and cold temperatures for me (ranging from the desert (110F) to the cold Alaskan weather (-20F). It handles boiled water well and has been used as a sleeping bag heater as it dissipates heat fairly slowly to keep me nice and warm when I fall asleep in freezing temperatures. As for durability, the bottle lasts a very long time if you use it in non-sandy environments.I have used the bottle at home, at work and even at the gym and there has been no signs of wear, however I have also used it for dune buggy driving, hiking, running through the mud, rock climbing, accidentally falling out of a car etc. It has survived all conditions and it holds up well albeit with all the dents and scratches (which are to be expected). I've never had an accidental spill either. The lid was tight but shows obvious wear e real problem I have is the aesthetic aspect, but gi whatever I'm going through I think it's to be expected. My bottle in particular is badly worn out, the gauge marks in particular fully warn of this. Also, I was specifically looking for a larger water bottle, so 32oz was perfect (38oz filled to the brim). Drinking 2.5 of these per day will give you the recommended daily water intake. It also has a surprisingly comfortable grip considering its size. With that in mind, I might even opt for a larger bottle that can hold more water. Finally, this water bottle does not affect the taste of the liquid at all. I've used it with reverse osmosis water, tap water, river water, etc. The taste is just as good as before. Considering the size of the lid, it's pretty easy to clean!

Pros
