. I bought one for my son when he was young, big and it fit me, great weight, very useful, repels water like a duck. So I bought myself a pair of women's small pants based on my measurements and the chart provided. he is gigantic. The arms extend very well past my average ankles and the arms are incredibly loose at the cuff and there is no way to pull it down, there is an elastic band but it is loose making it impossible to fold down a decent cuff to get around to hide them at someone else's arm's length. the body is bulging, the neck too. I could, no kidding, wear two or three thick sweaters underneath and a knitted scarf around my neck. This is a quality product, just huge. except that the length is just right, like the length of a denim jacket, certainly not to mid-thigh. more hip/panty line. I'm a little small, usually wear small, saw it was big but felt chubby so ordered one size up. that's another matter! my son is heavier, still thin, same material, same fleece inside but heavier. why why why can't women have good clothes even if they have pockets. this is a great jacket. Fun to just turn on the faucet and watch the water drain, deep red color, less berry or burgundy but very pretty, goes well with neutral colors, certainly not pink as one reviewer mentioned. a muted burgundy with minimal veiling, maybe purple, is actually fine, but doesn't go well with oxblood, burgundy, maroon, etc. as a distinct color. help determine the size. In jackets, I wear 4, small, small to medium shirts from adult brands versus young women's/junior brands. 5'4", 125-130 lbs, hourglass to pear. If I had more time I'd either go back and buy a very small one or sew silly sleeves. I'll wear it as open as possible because it looks a bit weird because it's so big.
