I bought this because I was watching an orthopedist's YouTube video about ways to help a fibroid. He recommended using an ice ball. I read several reviews and decided on this mid-range ball. I was happy that it stays cold for 6 hours. This will help reduce swelling temporarily, hopefully the connective tissue will relax over time. This is just part of foot therapy and it works. I'll let you know when I try the heat. I'm sure it will be great too. 😊
