Review on Nelson-Rigg Stormrider Waterproof Rain Suit for Enhanced Protection by Rob Clark

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent purchase! - Motorcycle & Powersports

I'm usually between medium and large depending on the manufacturer. After reading the reviews and looking at the size charts, I couldn't decide which size to buy for a long time. I'm 5'6' about 150 lbs. The waist was too small and the chest too big for a medium. Waist was good for tall, but chest was too big. I met the medium and figured I could always return it if it didn't fit. I'm glad I chose the medium. When they say it's done to protect your clothes, they're not lying. It looks huge but fits my clothes and skin perfectly. Yes, and it's going well. If you are wondering which size to choose, take the size you usually wear in clothes. Don't get confused by all the charts and other reviews like they did with me. I have used the rain suit several times. It has kept me dry every time. Basically it was just light rain here and there. I waited for a good shower before posting a review. A few weekends ago I drove from San Antonio to Houston. I was out for less than 20 minutes and it started raining. I stopped and put it on along with the overshoes I bought at the same time. It rained almost all the way home. Sometimes the rain was good and sometimes it was so heavy that the cells didn't go faster than 40. In other words, it was pouring rain. I returned home after being outside in the rain for about 4 hours. i was dry Pros: It works very well. The top and bottom easily fold into a hood for compact storage. High quality Velcro. Elastic straps under the heel. Hood with drawstring that goes under the helmet. Tight fit around the wrists. high view. colors and gloss tape (reflective material). The collar goes high on the neck but not too high to make it difficult for me to turn my head. Cons: Difficult to get my boots through when wearing overshoes. When I pull up my pants, my blue jeans go up. It is difficult to put the strap under the overshoes.
