I am so disappointed with this case. I had a Vena case for my previous iPhone and loved it. It was so durable and lasted over a year. When I switched to iPhoneX I bought this case again for me and my daughter. BOTH of these vena cases are already falling apart and we only received them in December 2017. It's June and today my case completely fell apart. I almost lost my credit card and driver's license that I kept in my pocket when the whole corner of the pocket just came loose. This case was never dropped and no pressure was put on it. So now I'm not a sham and my daughter's Vienna is also falling apart. I would happily give this case five stars as I would have given the first Vena I bought, but this case is just disappointing and poorly made. to replace damaged cases. They also reminded me that the cases come with a lifetime guarantee and said that if they had any further problems they would contact them and they would replace any damaged product immediately. I made this call on a Friday, our new cases (with photos) arrived the following Tuesday. After this experience, I am changing my original "one star" rating to 4 stars. I still think Vena is the best wallet for our iPhones and the great customer service is a definite plus. I'm reserving one star and not giving five stars because this problem shouldn't be there when installing new housings. While I appreciate the lifetime warranty, I would appreciate it more if I never had to use it. ***UPDATE*** I have since upgraded to two iPhone XS Max phones and look forward to the release of Vena cases for the latest iPhone builds. When they were released I immediately ordered two. I have since had to replace both due to the same case issue. Currently my replacement iPhone XS Max case has ripped in two places along the plastic edge. I actually had to glue it together to continue using the case. I plan to contact Vena **RECOVER** for two more covers. While I still think the Vena sleeves are the best wallets for commuting in terms of utility, they are TERRIBLE in terms of durability. I'm not sure if I'll be looking for the next version of Vena cases when I update my phones again. I know Vena is ignoring this ongoing build issue. This is a manufacturing defect and simply unacceptable. The customer should not call and ask for a case replacement because of the same recurring problem because of inferior materials used in assembling the product. So if you listen to Vena, and I doubt you do, PLEASE SOLVE the problem with flimsy, brittle plastic surrounding your otherwise beautiful cases. No matter how much you save on manufacturing costs by how you design the environment now, it will cost you consumer confidence and the reputation of your product line. Create the best case!
