Quality control could be better

As stated in other reviews. The holes didn't match perfectly. 5 of the 6 bolts fit perfectly, but I would probably mess up my traction to get the last one right. Luckily there was enough room to drill a new hole without damaging the structure. Good thing that counts in management. If you have a Dodge 03-08 I recommend this product as well as the 4th clutch and upgrade steering stabilizer/sway bar.

As good as a $200 rack

It's relatively simple what you need to do to install it. I used new bolts in the spare rod brackets and left them loose to allow the rod to be manipulated...then put on the steering shaft extension and bent it to fit the steering bearing block...put two bolts in the steering bearing and then tightened everything up . before… 20 minutes from start to finish. I haven't had it long enough to comment on how important it is, but it seems to be of decent quality, no fit/finish issues so far.

Product mismatched

I liked the thickness of the steel and the welds looked nice but I had to resize and weld/fill holes for the stabilizer bar about a quarter of an inch I'm not sure I can haven't read the fine print 2004.5 5.9 Cummins Ram 2500 HD 4x4 Quad Cab is ST I haven't seen this exception before which is weird because I do all my work myself and this is the first time I've heard of anything else? (except for clutch sizes and U-joints on the driveshaft) Revain says it will fit, but the fine print clearly…

good welds, excellent powder coating

I ordered this brace after looking at many different ones. They appear to be broadly the same, but others have had installation issues and complaints about missing hardware or cheap hardware. This one came a day earlier than Revane said. The strut itself looks good, good welds, excellent powder coating, no jagged edges or other imperfections. The hardware was individually boxed and rated 10.9 and shipped with a hardware list and a list of the tools and tool sizes you will need. The instructions

Modification Required

I'm starting out driving a '03 Dodge Ram 3500 with a 5.9 Cummins engine. This was just one of many installed at once to correct the horrible death wobble. The OEM steering upgrade, bipod arm, steering damper, upper and lower ball joints, APOX control arms, wheel bearing and that strut really nailed it. An educated guess tells me it was a combination of a bad upper arm and a weak OEM tie rod. These braces are well made for the price and come with all the parts you need. The problem lay in the…

Wow what a great interaction.

This review is mainly about the seller but not all of it. First, the stabilizer here is amazing. That's exactly what it claims and as long as you know what the heck you're doing you won't have any other problems you haven't noticed and note that you should be able to get this stabilizer in less than one hour to install. , Easy! Second, the seller is amazing! My particular truck (2008 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins Mega Cab) had a much larger transmission/clutch joint than most other similar trucks and…

Good product! Here are some useful tips

As good as a branded stabilizer and stops death wobble. Use common sense when installing. If the hole doesn't line up like most bad reviews I see, it's because the gearing is loaded on one side. That's why you install this product. Rotate the wheels until the gears are even better aligned, raise the wheels so there is no stress on the gears. Also secure the stabilizer before unscrewing it! I can't stress this enough for safety. This bar supports the weight of your truck and comes down on you…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • boring packaging

I have a 2007 Ram 3500 6.7 CTD 4WD. Like others here, I followed the instructions up to the "T". The new segment shaft nut will not line up with the hole in the bracket. It will barely fit in the hole. I've maxed it out just to get it in the hole and it's rubbing the side of it a bit. There's not even enough adjustment range in the screw holes to compensate. I'm not sure if it's defective or if the product's compatibility isn't listed correctly. EDIT: It is IMPORTANT to check your steering box…
