Graphic paper journals make me feel like DaVinci- perfect for writing in straight lines AND for drawing pictures.I purchased the set to keep one for myself and give one to my daughter. She loves hers! She creates Word Search puzzles for the local newspaper, and she said that the graph paper makes her job super easy. The bookmark strips and the attached pen holder are added bonuses that I didn't have on my last journal.

This set really checks off most of my requirements. Pages lay flat whether opened to the first or last page. It has a band for closure. Off white page with nicely spaced grid. Pocket in back. Hard cover 'feels' good in the hand and looks attractive. Standard off-white pages don't bleed through. I was surprised to find a couple of stencil templates in the back pocket. There was a strong chemical scent coming off the pages when I first opened them.

This is a pair of blank books like journals but with pages of graph paper. One is a beautiful dark evergreen, the other is black. The pages are quality paper, nice and thick. I use these for some of my math work because regular student notebooks have horrible bleed through. I can't focus on my numbers if I can see the other side bleeding through.The pages are bleed-proof and the graphing keeps my problems structured correctly.

I was very excited about these notebooks, but in reality they are minis - not regular notebook size. My kid cannot use them at school, honestly I don't see who would have need for them - small and graph paper. Not what I expected!

I love the color. The cover is sturdy and protects the paper well. I love the pen holder and the closure. I don't know why graph paper isn't the standard in paper. It's just so convenient. I use these books every day and do not regret the purchase at all.
