Don't worry if you see a crack, it's really tempered glass, just like the iPad screen. 2 weeks into installation, after sending the iPad to Apple Care to fix the cracked screen, my 5 year old son hit the center of the screen with his heel while playing on my lap. I was shocked to see a deep crack in the middle of the new screen. Luckily I bought 2 packs so I sat down at the dining table to take them off and see if he would change the screen protector or send it back to Apple Care. It came out very easy, a little easier than I expected. And luckily the crack was in the tread. No matter how hard it hits, I'm sure the screen will shatter without protection. Put on the 2nd and ordered 2 more! And the installation is very easy. I didn't use the dust sticker because it causes problems. Stick the guide stickers, wipe them with alcohol, and then wipe them with a cleaning cloth. Lay the screen face down, align it where you want it to be, fold the stickers onto the cover. The rest is obvious. I don't see any difference in interacting with the tablet during installation. It works as if it never existed. Update, 2nd still comes after 2 months with minimal scratches. Very happy with this product
