I have a 2013 MacBook Pro and a year or two ago the 1.2mm (very small) screws on the bottom started loosening and one even fell out. I bought this screwdriver after reading a number of reviews of similar tools. I noticed that most of the tools have high ratings even though 10-15% of the ratings are 1 star. Most of these 1 star reviews complained that the item failed due to tip detachment. I ended up using the Whizzotech tool and can say the errors are due to too much torque. Due to the small size of the tip, even a small amount of torque will generate a very large and potentially dangerous force. So I would say buy this item and be very careful with it and you will be happy. I can also say that this instrument is very beautiful, even artistically designed.
