For the price I expected a slightly better finish - the edges and holes are still raw and chipped from cutting. Because of this, the plastic inserts don't stay in place very well. The drawer is annoyingly flimsy and dangles so loosely that even the slightest tipping of the tray will cause it to slip and fall to the floor. I can build something with glue and rope so at least it won't fly out of reach unexpectedly. In addition to finishing, this is a desk made of MDF and laminate. The size is big enough for a large laptop or Chromebook and a mouse pad, and the height is just right for sitting in bed without bumping into it. [Note: The rounded legs mean it will wobble a bit on a soft surface like a mattress, so the cup holder is not recommended with open containers unless you're enjoying life like the paper towel advert.]
