Review on Roav Bluetooth Receiver by Anker: Advanced Bluetooth 🎧 4.1 with Noise-Cancellation, Integrated Mic, AUX-Out, and USB Charging by John Goerge

**UPDATED WITH EDIT BELOW** I am reviewing what I believe to be the second version of this device. It has a single button on the receiver, but still has a connection issue when placed in a car that turns off and then back on (as cars are designed to do). This device worked flawlessly for two months, then I realized that I had to unplug the power cord to restart the device and enable the Bluetooth search features, as well as turn it on at all. This problem has become more common so far, six months later in every car I've tried it in, the unit has to be unplugged and plugged back in at least 8-10 times before it will flash the blue power LED and check for a connection . I'm sure it won't work any time soon. In the first week I had the unit I was so happy with it that I bought another one for my wife's car. Luckily, I noticed that a newer version was being sold at the time that didn't seem to have this known issue (from what I've read in recent reviews). The newer ROAV B2 adapter in my wife's car has only been in use for about a month but seems to be working fine. This is very disappointing for parent company Anker, who I have bought many electronic devices from in the past. if I could show the serial number of the device. I couldn't find the serial number on the device (there is no serial number printed on it, just the model number and FCC ID) so I contacted the support team. You need to look for a toll free number to contact them online. Apparently, the number changes regularly due to a change in the support service. However, Christian from customer service was very helpful and polite. I explained the problem and he arranged a replacement which I received within a week. The new device connects to my phone's bluetooth as advertised as soon as I start the car. I'm happy with this quick and friendly replacement, although I'm deducting a star because the replacement wasn't necessary.
