Known issues with the product, but they still sell it.

I wanted this for my 2005 Camry that doesn't have a bruised tooth. The concept is great. It plugs into an outlet for power and into my aux input on the radio for speaker sharing. Unfortunately after trying a few different USB chargers it wouldn't turn on when the car started again. I called the company, they were very good. There is a known issue of it not starting after the car stalls. They said they were working on it but wouldn't know it was fixed until they made another batch (I wanted to…

Handy gadget, the best in car electronics Accessories

I've been thinking about buying a brand new stereo for my car so I can have a bluetooth connection with my phone. Basically I wanted to stream music from my phone and this does exactly that. I start the car and it beeps to indicate it's on. After a few seconds it beeps when my phone connects. Press play button for music. I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. So far there hasn't been a need to restart it or anything that others have complained about. Update: Despite my initial comment that it connects…

Very Happy Music Listener

I travel a lot and music is as important as fuel. While I'm not expecting miracles, I want decent quality and an extremely comfortable listening experience. When I bought a replacement in-dash receiver/CD player, Bluetooth was new and outrageously expensive, so I gave up. I had an old fashioned iPod, I plugged it into the auxiliary radio input which worked fine until the iPod died after 12 years of faithful service. Running USB charging and audio out of my Android phone was ugly and cumbersome…

New product, good quality

There aren't many reviews on this yet. But it was only $20 so I took a chance as Bluetooth for my car is definitely less cumbersome and more compatible with other people's devices than just aux *coughAPPLEcough*. Audio Quality: Luckily sounds exactly like I plugged it directly into Aux. This was my biggest problem given the cheapness and poor Bluetooth quality I've had in the past. But it works great and I wasn't tempted to reconnect my phone for crappy Bluetooth audio or other audio issues…

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Protection

Pros: - Great sound with very little "hum" on the aux cable when plugged into power - Connects to Bluetooth very quickly on my iPhone when it's on - Call mic works fine Cons: - to turn it on I have to unplug the USB power from the cigarette lighter adapter, wait about 5 seconds and then plug it back in. They asked if I have a turn key or push button ignition for the car (I have a key) and they said there is a fault for the key ignition causing this behavior to disable, wait, connect. They also…

Turning it on can be an issue

I had the first version of the Anchor but I sold it with the truck because the buyer was willing to pay extra for it. I have this version and it's a different experience. The main problem is that it doesn't turn on reliably. Both trucks (the first '04 Sierra, the second '10 Silverado) have the USB connected to the accessory bus, which also powers the radio. With the old version, I could start up and then, while holding down the "Up" key, turn on the receiver. With this version it starts and the

This is HOMERUN!

That's cool. Connection = super fast. There is no noticeable loss of quality between the phone, device and wireless connection. I would rate the connection as perfect. The microphone on the device is also excellent. The device is powered automatically when you plug it into an outlet that turns on/off when the car is turned on/off. If your phone's bluetooth is on when you start the car, the phone and the device will be paired automatically. I think separate power supply/AV is a big part of the…

Buy a newer version of b2!

I bought this on sale, installed and used it to easily stream music from my phone while traveling. Next time in my car it won't start. I've seen reviews talking about this issue, but even after unplugging it and plugging it back in, it wouldn't turn on. Thinking it was a bad USB cigarette adapter, I bought some new ones from Revain and unplugged it - it worked again. Then everything stopped with the same symptoms. Turns out I disconnected and reconnected fairly quickly and resetting it wasn't…

Virtually non-functional after 6 months **Replacement - FIXED**

**UPDATED WITH EDIT BELOW** I am reviewing what I believe to be the second version of this device. It has a single button on the receiver, but still has a connection issue when placed in a car that turns off and then back on (as cars are designed to do). This device worked flawlessly for two months, then I realized that I had to unplug the power cord to restart the device and enable the Bluetooth search features, as well as turn it on at all. This problem has become more common so far, six…
