Review on Black Oster Electric Wine Opener by Margarita Grossarth

Bought as a gift, then envied the recipient!

A waiter's corkscrew is a beautiful thing. Its economical design is both elegant and sexy! No switches, no buttons. It has a built-in foil cutting blade and the handle can be decorated with wood, metal or an exotic material. This is a handy toy that a man can really get into. Why did I buy this gadget? A large, somewhat clunky device that needs to be charged before it can be used. Spring. Not everyone likes to use a waiter's corkscrew. This is a fact, some find it difficult to use. It's too easy to break a cork in half (when you have a lot of cork floating in your wine) if you don't use the right technique. I bought this for a special friend who was having trouble using all the other corkscrews I've bought from her. she loved it. This is the only opener she will use for now. I've tried several times and still stuck with my trusty waiter. Then we had a party and I had to open a dozen bottles of wine. I used their oster and decided I needed it for myself but only for emergencies. Laguiole redwood corkscrew with case
