We've reached the point where kids don't need a stool for everything. It eliminates the need for bulky and permanent chairs in the kitchen and bathroom, but still needs a little extra height from time to time to reach things in the pantry or on shelves around the house. That is why these stools are such a good option for her. They are light enough to be carried from room to room and easy enough to fold/unfold on your own. At the same time, they're strong enough that I'm not at all concerned about them being able to support the weight of children (once, of course, of course).
