My AC switches are burned out. Some genius thought it would be a good idea to put a switch box on the air conditioner case. Which loosens the breakers over time. I simply swapped the box for the same one. Everything fits well. Holes and seals are not perfect.

I bought this box to replace an old hot tub base plate (it was an identical model) which the previous homeowner gutted for some reason.Works great so far and now I have power in my shed.As others have pointed out it doesn't come with a grounding rod which is a bit odd but you can (any brand) Pick up at Home Depot for a few bucks and installed in a box.

For a small full size 2 pin switch sub panel this works very well. The top cover is fairly flimsy, being held in place by a non-threaded plastic pin held in place by a thin wing nut, creating its own threads. There is no grounding but or even a lug so you need to get one, you can't use a neutral bar to ground on extra plates. Since this is a narrow box, finding the ground bar and wiring will be more of a challenge. The tire is held in place by plastic pins with one-sided lock washers. It…
