Pros: 1. Texture - the texture is more comfortable to hold than standard plastic.2. Color - Gives a refreshed leather look3. Side Rails - Adding matching side rails is a great addition if you're looking to upgrade your lid. Cons: 1. Texture. I've included both pros and cons because I was hoping for smoother, softer, natural looking skin. The texture is better than a plastic pen but not what I was hoping for.2. Fit - You can see in the photos if the lid and side rails don't fit together perfectly. Uneven gaps exist between the side rails and the lid housing, and between the housing and the frame. It might just be the kit I bought, but I think it might be a quality control issue.3. Material Durability - I don't think this material is very durable. I once removed the side rails to do an internal upgrade on my controller and removed a tiny cut of the TPU material from the side rail. I used the plastic tool that comes with the kit, which I really like. I was very gentle, fearing this would happen, and yet I stole it. Carefully. Overall, I'm glad I bought this set. I like the aesthetics and the slight texture enhancement it offers. There is room for improvement and love as Extremerate continues to release new products and new ideas. Keep up the good work and keep innovating.
