Much softer than steel wool!
Used with great success to remove rust from a painted surface. I soaked the rusty spot in Hoppe's Gun Solvent for a few days, then carefully polished the rusty spot, the rust was gone leaving only the faintest of freckles on the finished metal.
Pros
- Excellent for marine and outdoor use where there is a risk of rusting. No rusty leftovers!
