Review on OUKITEL WP5 Pro: Unlocked Rugged Cell 🔋 Phone with 8000mAh Battery, 4GB+64GB ROM, and Android 10 by Mark Gilbert

My son cycles in our community and "explores" with his friends daily. We needed a way to track him and contact him or us if necessary. We tried the watch but to no avail. Then we decided on a smartphone. He's a 10-year-old boy though, so it must have been a rugged phone. The Oukitel WP5 Pro fits the bill perfectly. The corners are rubberized with aluminum edges for drop and fall protection. There is enough protrusion on the front to protect the tough glass with a screen protector. The connectors have a rubber plug to prevent ingress of dust and water. The phone is waterproof to a depth of 1.5m for 30 minutes, which is more than enough to withstand a fall into a pond, puddle or pool. The antennas for 4G and WiFi are strong enough to receive a signal like a normal cell phone, both indoors and outdoors. Best of all, the battery life is amazing. My son uses this phone mainly during the day and sometimes at night. Maybe 4-5 hours a day. He needs to charge his phone about every 3 days, the battery is so good. My wife and I feel more secure knowing he has a great 4G phone that's rugged enough to handle his playstyle and has enough battery to last when he needs it. As an IT professional, I'm impressed with the "non-bloated" and unlocked Android v10 OS. That's right, no pre-installed malware or non-removable vendor applications. This phone is simply Android as it should be. The only downside to this phone is its size and weight. With an 8000mAh battery, the phone is thick and quite heavy, like two Galaxy S9s stacked on top of each other. However, the strength and battery life more than make up for the size and weight, especially for a rough and tough 10-year-old boy. We added this phone to our Mint Mobile plan for $15/month. This is incredible value for money. Rugged phone and 3 months. Services for only $200.
