My 12 year old daughter really wanted this cage for her guinea pigs. We hoped it would be a special father-daughter project. When it arrived she was so excited and wanted me to help her assemble it right away. Assembly problems started in step 2 when the schematic was flipped and the written instructions were written in very poor broken English. Each step was more confusing and it was easy to scroll through the photos as they were upside down and poorly illustrated. Keep in mind that I make wooden furniture as a hobby and I also built my own house with my father. I ended up buying new hardware and cutting out an extra piece of wood to reinforce the structure. I also had to use wood glue and remove screws so my daughter's animals wouldn't get hurt. My daughter and I just spent 5 hours frustrated and wishing we had never bought such a rejected and boring piece of junk. I would advise everyone to go ahead and find something that is better and has less confusing instructions.
