I was a little confused by another reviewer who said this tool didn't quite reach cylinder 2 due to the handle size, but that wasn't the case for me at all. With my VW Jetta 2002 GL 2.0 I had no problems attaching and removing the tool to the cable. However, you need to be a bit careful with it as it is a bit flexible and can apply too much force on it to deform the tool. This tool is excellent for disconnecting spark plug wires; made my life (and yours will be) so much easier because you don't have to disassemble the intake manifold to get to the connector wires. In short, buy it, it's worth $30, which will save you from disappointment.
