Review on 🛡️ Fiebing's Resolene Finish - Neutral - 32OZ Leather Protective Top Coating by Adam Nelson

I restored a 30 year old leather sofa using the Furniture Clinic leather repair kit (5 stars) and the Coconix leather repair kit (5 stars). The sofa looked great and didn't discolour - as long as it didn't come into contact with liquid or moisture the color would transfer. So I bought Fiebing's to secure the finish. Works great - easy to apply with a soft sponge. I applied two coats in most areas; three in areas of greater abrasion. Resolene leaves a slightly shiny finish and multiple coats make real leather feel a bit supple due to the acrylic nature of the product. But my sofa looks good and the restoration project I had my doubts about turned out great. For a less drastic restoration I think a single coat with less gloss will hold up well.
