I wore them during an 8 day trip to Mexico City. I only wore them once before traveling to make sure they didn't cause blisters. The fit was just right. It was dry season so the shoes never got wet or caught in the rain. It was winter, so the temperature never rose above 75 degrees. So no excessive sweating as such, no moisture from the environment. However, by the end of the trip, these shoes smelled so bad that I considered leaving them in the bin in my AirBnB. This is my first pair of toms and they were bearable except for the stench. I know sweat is a human factor, and please trust me when I say I'm not a squeamish person — I use natural deodorant, damn I find the smell acceptable to a degree. It was. beyond this degree. I put them in my carry-on to save my plane neighbors. I understand that you need to think before buying?
