Buy a $25 band, your time is worth it

Tubeless bikes are a huge asset, perhaps more so than any other type of bike. Mulefut rims are the first relatively affordable fat bike rims that work really well tubeless. The Mulefut rims have a fairly high saddle and a fairly aggressive beadlock lip. There are many ways to make a Mulefut rim tubeless, but none is easier or more reliable than buying this tape. Because the mulefut headbands have holes in the seat, you need a band that goes exactly from bead to bead. This tape is the perfect width to cover the entire rim from bead to bead and seal the holes in the bead saddle without excess tape. In addition, this tape does not absorb sealant like Gorilla Tape and is much lighter than Gorilla Tape. Using this tape and SR rim tapes, I set up my bike tubeless for the first time fairly easily. As far as tubeless conversions go, it's been easy. My advice: If you have Mulefut discs, just pay for this tape, don't try anything non-original. People might have moral qualms about paying $25 for 30 feet of tape, but this stuff works really well and you'll probably run into trouble if you try anything else. Simplify your task and buy a cassette.

Cons
