Review on Ninja Nutri Pro Compact Personal Blender with 18 Oz. and 24 Oz. Portable Cups, Black/Silver Finish by Kevin Samuels

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. I wanted a powerful personal blender that didn't take up much desk space. This product delivers on both of these points. I was concerned by the number of reviewers who mentioned the pad being moldy. I ordered the blender anyway, on the grounds that these reviewers don't properly clean the blender blade. After using the blender a few times (and doing more research), I realized that the reviewers who said the liner MUST be removed for proper cleaning were right. Just DO NOT wash the blade body well enough or dry it thoroughly without removing the gasket. This is a major design flaw of the product and the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. Luckily I read about a workaround that makes removing the gasket easier. To remove the spacer the first time, I used a dental tool (which I bought from Revain) to pry it out of the blade body. It wasn't an easy task and I didn't want to do it every time I used the blender. Wrap a piece of dental floss around the pad after removing it for the first time. The cap can also be screwed on tightly with the thread inserted. After using the blender, simply pull the string and the spacer will pop out! If you're looking for a powerful little blender at a great price, don't let this design flaw stop you.
