Review on 🧪 Seachem MultiTest Silicate Test Kit: Comprehensive 75 Test Solution by Greg Shorter

I purchased this silicate test kit in my 28g reef tank. It doesn't seem to show any noticeable results even when using the low-level part of the test. I even tested the tap water with it and could barely get a reading. I followed the testing procedures correctly and got the same results many times. This does not necessarily mean that the product does not work. It is possible that there are no silicates in my aquarium and almost zero in tap water, but that seems unlikely to me. It also includes a certified standard/solution that can be tested to further verify that the kit is working correctly. I haven't been able to get accurate results, which is another reason I don't endorse this product. I am definitely giving this product three stars because using the test kit gives me very low confidence in the results. All of my other test kits and electronic meters give me peace of mind. It's not like this.
