I outlawed stuffed toys for my 4 vizslas. In November 2011 they were given Girard Giraffe. He is the favourite of one dog in particular, and is generally carried around on a daily basis, by the neck. He is the subject of envy, with frequent scuffles over who gets him (not progressing so far as tug - yet). He has been through the washing machine once and his neck is still upright. In his seventh month with my pack, he is still in one piece, with no holes, looking pretty much like the picture. I have been very impressed with him, and have not yet been able to find another Tuffy which stands up to as much as he does.
