We were initially excited because the toy felt quite durable, but it unfortunately lasted a solid hour and a half before my 50lb dog chewed off the ears and ripped out the stuffing. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Or ear. A giraffe is only as strong as its weakest ear.

I outlawed stuffed toys for my 4 vizslas. In November 2011 they were given Girard Giraffe. He is the favourite of one dog in particular, and is generally carried around on a daily basis, by the neck. He is the subject of envy, with frequent scuffles over who gets him (not progressing so far as tug - yet). He has been through the washing machine once and his neck is still upright. This is after a few hours of play or the giraffe had a twelve pack of tacos from taco bell. The dog liked the toy. That's why I gave it three stars. Based on its toughness it woukd be less.

The entire seam on the leg tore within minutes of very light play. Extremely disappointing quality for the price. That's my feedback.

This dog toy held for about 2-3 weeks with my beagle who destroys all fabric dog toys. It was still worth the price because it kept her busy. I have a few other Tuffy toys which hold better. In our case I find that the Tuffy toys that don’t have lean edges hold longest.

My 2 ferocious chewing dobermans ripped off the ears and tail rather quickly but the rest of the body has held up well. My older one loves to shake it around! However it's a little too heavy for my younger, 60 pound furbaby!

This is terrible. Toughest toy? My 10 pound beagle/chihuahua mix had stuffing out of it in less than 10mins. She destroyed the face and one of the legs. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Waste of money.

Only took a half hour for our 5 month old, yellow lab puppy to rip a whole in it and start taking the stuffing out. Ultimately, the TUFFY World's Tuffest Soft Dog Toy fails to provide the engagement, stimulation, and durability that most dogs and their owners are looking for in a toy.

This is my dogs favorite giraffe. The product images don’t match this rolling change. I like the old version way better.

This is the most durable toy I have found as of yet. It's pretty rad. Also it's giant. My dog is only about 30lbs and it's about his size. He really likes it though and has yet to make it to the fluff which is all I wanted. He struggles to drag it around the room it's pretty hilarious. It's everything I expected and more.

Usually this brand lasts month for us. poor Girard the Giraffe only made it 2 days. our dog found a weak spot and exposed it. Perhaps we got a dud.

I did a lot of research on this brand. they even rate everything with a "tuffness" scale, yet my 30 lb. mini goldendoodle chewed thru the ears and tail in about 10 minutes. Not worth the $$. DO NOT BUY as they say this should be used as an interactive toy (quoted directly from the company).
