so it's practically useless to me

The GPS works but I couldn't calibrate the compass in iNav or Betaflight. I decided to take it apart and connect it to a Raspberry Pi for further testing. After some tests I couldn't get any stable readings from the compass because it always gives overflowing readings on the x and y axis, so it's pretty useless to me.
