Review on ๐Ÿถ Citronella Dog Training Collar with Remote - 3 Modes & 3 Spray Levels for Humane Training, 1000ft Range, Rechargeable & Non-Automated by Nicole Hunter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Gentle for sensitive dogs and gentle for unruly dogs.

Are you looking for a gentle but effective way to train your dog? That's it. Dogs are smart, but sometimes stubborn. I use my voice without following command - then tone, not following command - then vibrate - still not following command - then spray. Dogs hate citronella, but it's not dangerous. I've only had to spray it once but it's fully disclosed - it used to have a citronella collar but it broke and I never replaced it. (I think he has strong memories of something he didn't like.) After a while he decided he could run into the woods if he wanted to or not come when I called, so I replaced him. You may have to spray 2 or 3 times but they learn quickly and you only use the clay - that's all I used after day one. This stretches over 1000 feet and is suitable for hiking or back roads. It will stop when a car approaches and will not chase another animal with a single push of a tone. I like that it's rechargeable and battery free. The controls are comfortable to hold. My previous one had raised buttons and I accidentally sprayed them a few times. This is easier to control. Buy it!
