Because I want my Xiaomi MI A1 to last as long as possible, I decided to make this purchase. Compared to standard Android, the OneUI user interface is incredibly frustrating; for example, do you want the keyboard and navigation buttons to vibrate when you use them? Put in an outside program. Need a way to show bluetooth headphone battery life in the dark? Put in an outside program. Dislike the stock launcher because you cannot swipe to open an app? To lock down common apps, you need to install additional software; in summary, customizability and adaptability are effectively at zero compared to default Android.
