A 1TB SSD is NOT REALLY 1TB! BEWARE BUYERS
$2400 for "1TB SSD" which is actually not a 1TB SSD - BUYERS BEWARE. RAID 0. Windows does not recognize the SSD as SSD and treats the RAID 0 array as HARD DISK; rendering TRIM inoperable and useless. If even the slightest problem occurs on ONE of those two drives, your Surface becomes an expensive paperweight and your data evaporates. It is STRONGLY recommended to use cloud backup software on these devices if you are storing important information locally. Microsoft's incredibly underhanded and dishonest practices; For this reason, we will continue to review all MS device purchases with the utmost caution.
