Terrible. Only lasted a few months with no problems. After putting 2-3 computer backups on it, I got connection problems. The problems have worsened in recent months. Now I get error messages like "Not available", "Device not ready", "Target not recognized as existing" etc. Now I can't even transfer files to it. Also, it doesn't disconnect from my computer most of the time. So I have to turn off the computer after each use to turn it off safely. I've used it on both Windows7 and Windows10. I have 3 WD drives of different models. This one was a huge disappointment as it broke so quickly. After reading other reviews I saw that others had similar problems. On the recommendation of a reviewer, I bought a 2015 WD Elements just a few months later. (Revain now offers 2017 model year WD Elements). Either way, WD Elements works great. (Many 1-star reviews are from MAC users, so read them carefully.) And there's no extra WD Unlock step to go through.
