Excellent flash drive in all respects. The sleek metal body feels very sturdy, doesn't pick up fingerprints, and has an opening large enough to fit most keychains. The drive fits snugly and smoothly into the USB connector, which isn't always guaranteed with unibody flash drives like this one (some of the ones I tried were very tight due to being a bit oversized). The case does get a bit warm during use, but that's not a bad thing as it means the heat doesn't linger inside. In terms of performance, this drive really exceeds its claims. Peak read/write speeds are very good, hitting around 160/140 MB/s for small to medium file transfers. Writing very large files to this drive will result in power cycles where the transfer will pause for a few seconds every 500MB or so to allow the drive to catch up (common behavior on many inexpensive flash drives). Even with pauses, the overall sustained write speed is still 56.8 MB/s, which is a good result. Overall I am satisfied with this flash drive as it offers a great combination of minimalistic design and high performance. Of course there are faster USB drives, but they usually come in bulkier cases that are inconvenient to carry around. This drive is sleek enough to take with you wherever you go, and its speed won't disappoint (unless you're constantly moving huge files). highlighted.
