Review on 🖌️ Caran d'Ache 115 303 3-Piece Brushes Set: Precise, Professional and Versatile by Kristen Simpson

These waterbrushes are perfect in every way except one. One of my brushes (red) had a dark spot on the rubber ball (photos attached) so I gave the quality control team a star because my new red fiber tip brush didn't look new. I'm not sure what the stain is, but I've tried using dish soap, brush cleaner, vinegar, alcohol, white toothpaste, and baking soda to remove it. Nothing will move the stain, so I'm guessing it's either burn marks or an extra pigment in the rubber that didn't fully dissipate during production. Not that it affects the function of the brush. Also, I love these brushes. They are easy to fill, hold enough water, don't leak, and those with bristles are elastic. The fiber tip does a great job of lifting pigment, moving pigment, acting like a blender, writing like a marker, and just generally just fun to play around with as a fairly unique painting tool. All three are very easy to clean with a simple push of the fan and a quick wipe down with a cloth. I've tested them with acrylic paint, gouache and watercolor pencils and it's a pleasure to use them with all three.
