Strong straps but poor support

Door strap ended up working but I had sticking problems. I prepared the site as directed and followed all instructions but the strap could only withstand very moderate pressure before the anchor popped off. It could hold a small child in the room but I have to hold a 60 lb dog who rushes to the door at full speed. I ended up using Gorilla Glue and Gorilla Taoe to attach it and it has worked fine ever since.
