Like your mom, mine kept an opened box of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in the fridge to neutralize odors, so I figured a baking soda deodorant could neutralize body odor in a similar way. And it really is: for my sensitive skin, Arm & Hammer Essentials Unscented is the most effective antiperspirant-free natural deodorant I've ever had. , no moisture. Appealingly, the "Unscented - No Fragrance" label is somewhat misleading: I have severe contact dermatitis, and while this deodorant has none of the "scents" or "perfumes" that set my skin on fire, it does have a mild uplifting aroma of fruit- and floral oils indicated in the ingredients.
