I thought I had a backlight but turns out there are two versions and they sent me the non-backlit one. Dead battery, I thought the device was broken until I read the "support email" that came after I ordered it. Uses a mini sealing eraser to secure the battery. The SHIFT key is only on the left side, making it difficult to use some keyboard shortcuts in Windows. The mouse buttons are in a good spot on either side of the trackpad, but they're a bit small - it takes a while to find them without looking at the keyboard. I'd rather have 2 SHIFT keys and 2 CTRL keys instead of mouse buttons on the left side of the device. Other than that, it's a good product.
