I can't see what this item does because although the description says it's suitable for use with Smart TVs it doesn't appear to be. You need an available USB port for the device you are using it with. Not compatible with ROKU or Firestick.

I was looking for a keyboard style remote for the Firestick so I looked for Bluetooth and this came up so I got it. My fault for not doing more research, it's not Bluetooth so I almost brought it back and then got great use of it. I work on my computer from home all day and the USB adapter allows me to use it with my business laptop. It's especially handy when I need to move around or not sit all day, so it ended up being handy.

I have two of these mini KBs and they both work fine. I bought one a few years ago and just bought another one for the bedroom. I use one in my cave entertainment center. I use the other on my computer/TV and Netflix home computer in the bedroom. My requirement is around 15 feet and they are solid. They're small and difficult to use as a full keyboard, but they're just right for my needs.

I bought this remote to use as a keyboard on my HP laptop with Windows 10. I watch internet videos from the comfort of my couch on my 50 inch LED display. That is amazing! If you have a laptop with a broken screen, don't throw it away! Buy this keyboard and enjoy!

I used to give this device 5 stars but after a few months it stopped working and it became difficult to use the USB plug. It just stopped working no matter what computer I used, unfortunately. I really liked this product but it didn't last long and as a teacher I want something that works and lasts! I paid my money for it and can't replace it.

This could be a great product if it works as intended. The "rechargeable" battery was never recharged, making it unusable when not connected to a power source. Sensitive touchpad when plugged in, good button operation, really cool idea! UPDATE: The company contacted me and offered a replacement but due to COVID they were unsure when it would be able to ship and offered me a refund. . I thought I had a backlight but turns out there are two versions and they sent me the non-backlit one. Dead battery, I thought the device was broken until I read the "support email" that came after I ordered it. Uses a mini sealing eraser to secure the battery. The SHIFT key is only on the left side, making it difficult to use some keyboard shortcuts in Windows. I LOVE this product. If you use a browser on your Smart TV, perhaps for live streaming or movie searches, this is a MUST. I hated sitting there and typing on the remote, it took 3 times as long as it should and my remote doesn't have a proper keyboard! It's also nice and small and fits perfectly with other remotes.
