After my mother suffered multiple fractures in her back, washing her hair was terrible. So for $8 we decided to give it a try. We took her to the kitchen in a folding chair and I put a big, empty trash can behind her. We used the kitchen sink which had a hose to wash her hair and the water was poured into the trash can. It made washing my mother's hair painless. HOWEVER, it is not a perfect seal and is not hermetic. We wrapped a towel around it and put a plastic bag under the hopper to keep it dry. After using it a few times and turning off the system, it stayed dry. Costs money!
