Review on ๐ŸŽธ Wireless Wii Guitar Hero Controller - Compatible with Wii Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour Bundle (White Color) by Rickey Ortega

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It may look like a guitar controller, but it's actually a lifesaver.

BLUF: Works great with Rockband 2, responds just like the original guitar and completes our family quartet but arrived with a broken strap mount. Long version: I borrowed an old Wii system with a rock band from a relative. . My kids loved the family celebration but then we realized we needed the keys. We finally found it and sent it to us, but my search for a second guitar turned up nothing with all the ridiculous prices on the secondary market. I have 6 children. If I can't get four of them to play it at the same time, it'll cause more pain than it's worth. I was ready to dump everything but then I saw this. I was initially skeptical due to some negative reviews. I decided it was worth a try so I ordered it. The guitar came as promised and looked well packaged. The neck comes separately but is easy to attach. It comes with a decent strap, but one of the two plastic mounts was broken, so our strap is mainly decorative. The Wii controller is easy to set up and the guitar plays with no obvious timing discrepancies from another guitar's delay. The buttons are slightly different, so there are slight learning curves. We usually use it for the bass roll and the original grand piano for the guitar, but sometimes we used it for the guitar parts with no problem. For the price, it's a bargain and our entire Wii/Rock group can take full advantage of it. It has already provided hours of family fun and hopefully many more are to come. Recommended for use in a rock band 2, despite a broken strap attachment.
