A decent product is good for safety and survival

I like the product itself. However, I ordered six packs and only received 3 packs with no solution. The product itself works as described.

Very big, quite warm.

These things are really quite big. Much more than I thought! To be honest I didn't think they would work, but they got really warm right away! Can't wait to try them out in cold weather.

Save money on AC bills.

Kills almost all of the heat coming through the windows from the sun. During the day it acts as a one-way mirror - you can still see outside with the effect of a heavily tinted pane. The degree of reflection set behind the panel is barely perceptible from the outside.

Great for the homeless!

Homeless people have very little storage space at the local shelter, they are given a locker. People donate blankets which is nice but they take up a lot of space. But these emergency blankets are light and compact, at least in the package. I didn't take it out, but I'm sure it's more compact and lighter than a wool blanket. I also suggested to my son when he will wait for the bus in winter but he declined, thanks.

Emergency blankets just in case

I've been reading about these blankets in outdoor magazines for a number of years. I have no personal experience and don't know anyone who would use it in an emergency. They were bought to stash in my cars in an emergency alongside jumper cables, flares and a spare tire.

These mylar blankets are a great way to keep warm in the event of a fire.

My kids never wear coats that match the weather. These mylar blankets are a great way to keep warm in the event of an accident or breakdown on the road. Unlike a regular blanket, they're economical and small enough to fit in the glove box of all your cars. They are also great for overwintering plants.

Better than I hoped

I bought these because they were cheap and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. It only took me two to reflect the warmth of two sunny windows while the curtains were down for a couple of weeks. I hide the rest in the car and with camping gear. I thought I might need extra ones because they would tear and not hold up. But not so much. I stick them to the window frame and peel them off at night when I don't need the heat reflection. They don't hold and tear like I thought they would. Iโ€ฆ
