Review on Stay Protected with Freecam C340: Solar Powered Wi-Fi Camera for Outdoor Home Security by Jared Coleman

The instructions were in Chinese so it took a while to figure out that there was a power switch under one of the screwed on panels. I charged it fully and using the extremely simple Android software, I was able to connect it to Wi-Fi and view the camera remotely from the internet without having to do port forwarding or anything, which was important to me as I have a cellular modem from Verizon without a fixed address. The block appears to be well put together. The main problem is that it often loses connection and I think this is due to the fact that it loses battery power. I even turned off the alarm function at night thinking this might turn off the IR lights they might have drained. Of course we are approaching the shortest days of the year, but that needs improvement. I can't even get through the day after fully charging the AC adapter. The program has very few settings. Hopefully there will be a firmware and/or software update to fix some of these issues. I am considering a return within 30 days.
