I bought this to use in my Instant Pot Ultra 8qt. I took my time looking through the various vaping products available. There were 2 other vape "baskets" that I looked at before finding this one. When I found this one I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Used 4 times in 2 days. Boil hard-boiled eggs three times and steam sweet potatoes once. I am very happy with the performance of the steamer and the ease of cleaning, love the fact that this steamer basket has silicone "covers" on the "legs" and handle. With silicone feet, I don't have to worry about the metal feet scratching any surface they come in contact with. The silicone coating on the handle makes the handle feel cooler when I take it out of the instant pot. I still use an oven mitt; but I'm not worried about the pen slipping out of my hand or being too hot to touch. The first two photos show the eggs ready to cook in my Instant Pot and the ice bath after they're done. As you can see I removed the steamer basket from the pan and placed it straight into the ice bath along with the eggs. In the third photo, sweet potatoes are being prepared for cooking, and in the fourth photo, a dozen eggs are ready to be cooked in a slow cooker. Good product! Well made and sturdy; but not difficult.
